Closet Land (1991)

'Velmi silná záležitost, kde sice trochu vržou Rickmanova milovaná divadelní prkna, ale na stranu druhou je zase zajímavé sledovat kontrast mezi  právě rickmanovským divadelnictvím a filmově civilním herectvím Madeleine.  Ďábel svádí anděla, i když možná lepším výrazem je przní a neštítí se přitom ničeho, podvádí, mučí, lže, žadoní.  Ale je vůbec možné zkazit čisté nebo napravit zkažené?  Naopak od ostatních se mi tu moc líbilo originální mísení politiky a osobních aspektů, kde je totalitní režim přirovnáván k przniteli dětí, muži a vzdor, odboj proti němu onomu pošpiněnému, týranému, mučenému ale nezlomenému dítěti, ženě. Proč nekřičíme?

Ako divadelná hra to vie určite viac osloviť, lepšia atmosféra pre dej o dvoch postavách. Na film je ale mučenia málo, skôr psychologické než reálne, a filozofie veľa, hoci treba vyzdvihnúť majstrovskú hruRickmanas hlasom.Madeleineje hlavne o tvári, aj keď trpí. Svojou absurditou film pripomína ProcesFranza Kafku. Avšak ide o Pinochetovu skutočnosť zo sedemdesiatych rokov a pani s politicky veľmi nekorektným menom Veronica De Negri, ktorú osem mesiacov väznili, neskôr na ulici upálili jej syna a aspoň malej spravodlivosti sa dočkalaaž po skoro 30 rokoch. Niektorí sa jej nedočkajú nikdy.

Komorná netradičná dráma iba s dvoma hercami odohrávajúca sa v jedinej miestnosti, ale nie je to šatňa, ako napovedá názov. Tá je len v mysli a odkrýva bolestnú minulosť. Téma určite nie nezaujímavá - totalitárny režim (aj keď škoda, že hlbšie neosvetlený) a spôsoby výsluchu s použitím psychického i fyzického násilia. Len je to celé náročnejšie na pozornosť. Oprieť sa ale môže o kvalitné výkony, hlavne Rickman hviezdi.

Tak tohle byl teda dost divný film. Celý děj se odehrává v jedné místnosti, která připomíná uzavřený šatník, se spoustou zákoutí a dveří v podobě dveří do skříně.DĚJ:Mladá a pohledná spisovatelka je vyslýchána bezohledným, chytrým, manipulativním a občas násilným vyšetřovatelem. Obvinění zní, že její dětská kniha Closet Land nabádá děti k politickému odporu proti státu. Během výslechu dojde k týrání, spoutávání, elektrickým šokům a psychickému teroru. Spisovatelka je konfrontována se svou minulostí – znásilňováním od pěti let nevlastním otcem. Vyšetřovatel používá techniky"zničit tělo, abychom získali mysl", opakuje fráze jako"odpor je zbytečný"nebo"bolest zušlechťuje". Film je plný vizí, vnitřních hlasů a klaustrofobické atmosféry uzavřené místnosti.ZHODNOCENÍ:Spousta záběrů je dělána formou snů, vizí a představ, ozývají se různé vnitřní hlasy, což já moc rád nemám a dělá mi to akorát ve všem trochu zmatek. Proto mě tento film příliš nezaujal, možná je to tím, že jsem nedávno viděl podobný "hnus" jménem Výslech. Naopak mám velký respekt ke spisovatelce za to, že se nenechala zlomit a ty papíry plné lží nepodepsala, takže se obětovala kvůli pravdě. Podobné hrůzy se dodnes dějí ve spoustě zemí na světě, a některé země se svou diktaturu snaží šířit za hranice, jako třeba RuZko v současnosti.
Film je syrový, klaustrofobický a ukazuje, jak systém ničí nevinné lidi. Alan Rickman je v roli manipulativního vyšetřovatele dokonale odporný. Silné, ale těžké sledování.

Iluminátské sloupy – řecko/římská mytologie, odkaz na falešná božstva, padlé anděly, podlaha – černobílá symbolika, dominance/submisivita (o tom je celý film, možná o splitting the personality – ani sineuvědomuju, kolik jich bylo na stejné motivy natočeno).
