Alfred Bass byl anglický herec. Narodil se v Bethnal Green v Londýně, nejmladší v židovské rodině s deseti dětmi; jejich rodiče uprchli z pronásledování v Rusku. Po celou dobu své kariéry se objevil v různých divadelních, filmových, televizních a rozhlasových produkcích.
