Ralph Bakshi
Biografie
V letech 1972 až 1992 režíroval devět divadelně vydaných celovečerních filmů, z nichž pět napsal. Byl zapojen do mnoha televizních projektů jako režisér, scénárista, producent a animátor. Začal svou kariéru v televizním kresleném studiu Terrytoons jako čelist, Bakshi byl nakonec povýšen na ředitele. Přestěhoval se do divize animace Paramount Pictures v roce 1967 a založil své vlastní studio, Baxi Productions, v roce 1968. Prostřednictvím producenta Steva Krantze, Baši debutoval v celovecerním filmu Fritz the Cat, který byl vydán v roce 1972. Byl to první animovaný film, který získal hodnocení X Motion Picture Association of America, a nejúspěšnější animovaný ze všech dalších nezávislých filmů.
