Biografie
Gilbert Gilbert (1964-1967) se provdala za herce Jamese Perryho (když žil v Coronadu v Kalifornii se svou rodinou, Billy Wilder, poté natáčející Some Like It Hot, viděl Wagnera plavat a nabídl jí zkouškovou obrazovku. Její rodiče jí to zakázali, dokud nedokončila svůj maturitní rok na Coronado High School. Po absolvování studia navštívila Wilder a udělala zkoušku obrazovky, ale odmítla roli v The Apartment. Wagnerová cestovala po světě jako módní modelka, pak se objevila v televizní epizodě seriálu Bahamy v roce 1959.
