Neil Simon
Biografie
Marvin Neil Simon (* 4. července 1927 26. srpna 2018) byl americký dramatik, scénárista a autor. Napsal více než 30 her a téměř stejný počet filmových scénářů, většinou filmových adaptací svých her. V roce 1980 obdržel tři Tony Awards a Golden Globe Award, stejně jako nominace na čtyři Academy Awards a čtyři Primetime Emmy Awards. Byl oceněn zvláštní Tony Award v roce 1975, Kennedy Center Honors v roce 1995 a Mark Twain Prize for American Humor v roce 2006. Simon vyrostl v New Yorku během Velké hospodářské krize.
