Adelle Lutz

Biografie

V devadesátých letech začala přecházet od kostýmů k sochařství, instalačnímu umění a nakonec k performance. Lutzova umělecká díla a design byly vystavovány v Metropolitan Museum of Art a Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) (New York), Victoria and Albert Museum a Barbican Art Centre (London), Montreal Decorative Museum of Arts a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (Cleveland), mimo jiné na mnoha místech. V roce 2002 navrhla kostýmy pro filmovou režisérku Susan Seidelmanovou, divadelní režiséry Roberta Wilsona a JoAnne Akalaitisovou a hudebníky, včetně Byrne, Bono a Michael Stipe. Její práce je také součástí veřejného výzkumu na stránkách Wikipedie, The New York Times Magazine, Harper's Weekly, The Paper (2007), The Vanity Fair (2002), The Art of Surrealism (2004), The Costume Designers: According to the Times, The Best Designers in the World (2007), a také je součástí publikací na seznamu knižních pro veřejnost, včetně časopisu Time Magazine, The Designer's Guide to Fashion Designers.
