Z Wikipedie, svobodná encyklopedie Jim Davis (narozen Marlin Davis, 26. srpna 1909 26. dubna 1981) byl americký herec, nejlépe známý pro svou roli jako Jock Ewing v primetime mýdlové operě CBS, Dallas, roli, která pokračovala, dokud nebyl příliš nemocný z smrtelné nemoci k provedení. Byl známý jako Jim Davis v době jeho první velké role na plátně, která byla naproti Bette Davis v melodramatu 1948 Zimní setkání,[3] velkolepý neúspěch, pro který byl kritizován v tisku jako příliš nezkušený hrát roli správně.
