George R.R. Martin
Biografie
George Raymond Richard Martin (narozen George Raymond Martin; 20. září 1948), také známý jako G.R.RM., je americký autor, televizní spisovatel a televizní producent. Je nejznámější jako autor série epických fantasy románů Píseň ledu a ohně, která byla adaptována do televizního seriálu Hra o trůny (2011 2019), který získal cenu Primetime Emmy, a jeho prequel série Dům draka (2022 současnost). Také pomohl vytvořit antologickou sérii Wild Cards a přispěl k budování světa pro videohru Elden Ring (2022). V roce 2005 Lev Grossman z Time nazval Martina "americkým Tolkienem" a v roce 2011 byl zařazen na každoroční seznam Time 100 nejvlivnějších lidí na světě.
