Nicole Jaffe
Biografie
Velma Jaffeová (narozená v roce 1946) je americká herečka a hlasová herečka, nejlépe známá jako původní hlas Velmy Dinkleyové v animovaném seriálu Scooby-Doo od Hanna-Barbera od roku 1969 do roku 1974. Před zahájením produkce se Jaffe objevila v seriálu The Trouble with Girls with Elvis Presley (a budoucí Scooby Doo spoluhráč Frank Welker) a v Disney's The Love Bug. Velma byla Jaffeovou jedinou hlasovou rolí. Stejně jako její postava, Jaffe byla krátkozraká a potřebovala brýle nebo kontaktní čočky, aby viděla. Na prvním hlasovém nahrávkovém zkoušení pro Scoobydoo, Where are You Jaffe!, náhodně upustila brýle a vykřikla něco jako "my brýle! I can't see without them", což se stalo ochranným znakem a gagem pro Velmu.
