Michael Nesmith
Biografie
Po rozpadu Monkees Nesmith pokračoval ve své úspěšné skladatelské a hudební kariéře, nejprve s původní country rockovou skupinou First National Band, s níž měl top-40 hit "Joanne", a poté jako sólový umělec. Často hrál speciálně vybudovaný 12-strunný Gretsch s electric Monkeese a později. Nesmitt založil Pacific Arts, multimediální a produkční společnost, která v roce 1974 pomohla s hudebním videem. Vytvořil jeden z prvních amerických televizních hudebních programů formátu Different Drum, který se stal hitem pro Lindu Ronstadt a Stone Poneys.
