Kal Penn
Biografie
Kalpen Suresh Modi (narozen 23. dubna 1977) je americký herec, autor, komik a bývalý zaměstnanec Bílého domu v Obamově administrativě. Je nejvíce známý pro svou roli Kumara Patela ve filmové řadě Harold & Kumar. Je také známý svými rolí jako Lawrence Kutner v televizním pořadu House, zaměstnance Bílégo domu Seth Wright v Designated Survivor, Kevin v How I Met Your Mother a Nikhil Ganguli ve filmu The Namesake (2006). Na začátku roku 2009 mu bylo nabídnuto místo přidruženého ředitele Úřadu pro veřejnou angažovanost a mezivládní záležitosti v Bílém domě, které přijal, což vyžadovalo, aby jeho postava Lawrence Kutners byla vypsána z televizního seriálu House. V roce 2020 napsal Penn paměti s názvem "You Can't Be Serious".
